Youth Festival: Rang Mohan

25th to 28th September were the days of enjoyment for us because during these days we had Youth Festival of our University, Cultural board of MKBU has named this year's  Youth Festival "Rang Mohan". Because this year is celebreted as 150th birth anniversery of Gandhiji, So "Mohan" to "Mahatma" was the prime subject of the four days.



The very first event of this youth festival is Kala Yatra. It was from Shamaldas Arts college to Sheth H J Law college. The theme is of this Kala Yatra is ‘Art Conversation’ and the common theme on Gandhi.  All have different perspective. All colleges has their own perspective related theme. For example: SSCCM had the theme on ‘My life is my message’, ‘The KPES presented ‘The journey of Mohan to Mahatma’.
On 26th September, there was inauguration function at the amphitheater of MKBU campus. The Folk Orchestra was performed by GTU students. No words for their performance. It was outstanding performance. Then Dlipsinh sir welcomed to all the participants and all the guests. Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasma gave a speech. Mayabhai Ahir, Kirtidan Gadhi, Abhaysinh Rathod and Dhirubhai Sarvaiya also changed the whole atmosphere with their vocal vibes. Our vice chancellor Dr. Mahipatsinh Chavda delivered a brief thanking note.
After Inauguration, various compititions were held at the campus . Thereare manyevents organized in this youth festival. Here I mentioned some of the events.  They are Mimicry, Bhajan,  Spot Painting,  One act play, Quiz, On the spot poetry makig and poetry recitation, Folk dance, Mime, paper collage.

On day 3rd there were events like classical dance, poster making, elocution, clay modeling, western Grou song, mehndi, mono acting, photography, rangoli, folk song.

On last day, there were events like group song, skit, installation.

Last session of result was started nearby 3:30 pm. Vibhavriben Dave is our chief guest. Digubha Chudasma, Meranbhai Gadhvi, all were delivered their speech.  Dr. Firoz Dekhiya sang a bhajan with his tuneful voice. Shaktisinh Parmar  was the anchored and Himal Pandya sir was douing a very tough work in the youth festival.

This year KPES college was the winner of general championship award and SSCCM was the winner of Runners up Trophy.

How Literature Shaped Me?

L .. .I...T...E...R..A.. . T . ..U . ..R . ..E . .. is not just a word; it’s an Emotion for all those who studies it and interested in it. There is significance of literature in one’s whole life. Lullaby sung by mother for her child is a kind of literature; there is wedding songs and funeral hymns too. It doesn’t matter whether it is written or not because it can be considered as folk literature. For me very base of my interest in literature is my reading habit - gift from my Grandfather.
