1) How faithful is the movie to the original play?
The movie Hamlet by Kenneth Branagh helps to understand circumstances and characters in better way
rather than reading play,though there were originality in play rather than
movie but Branagh has used all dialogues and scenes as same as in play.Thus we
can say that the movie is faithful to the original play.

As above mentioned Branagh has depicted all characters
and situations similar to the original play so my perception about any character
or situation have not change3

While watching movie I felt catharsis with
the character of Ophelia.She is very obidiant to his father and brother.She
loves Hamlet and Hamlet also loves her,but her father and brother has said her
to stay away from Hamlet and in trying of took
revenge of his father’s death Hemlet couldn’t be able to meet her but she gone
mad and also dies in waiting for Hamlet.

The screening of movie Hamlet helped me
to underqstad characters and consequences in better way.
5) In the beginning of the movie, camera rolls over the statue of King Hamlet out side the Elsinore castle. The movie ends with the similar sequence wherein the statue of the King Hamlet is hammered down to the dust. What sort of symbolism do you read in this?
In the begining of the movie camera rolls over the statue of King Hamlet out side the Elssinore castlse2.The movie ends with the similar sequence where in the statue of the king Hamlet is hammered down to the dust.It symbolises that revenge is not good.We can connect it with Paradise lost because in Paradise Lost Satan's revenge becomes the reson for Man's Fall
